We would like to congratulate our colleague Dr. Jacqueline Lammert on receiving the Young Talent Award of the Hightech Prize Bavaria 2025 – awarded by Bayern.de | Bavarian State Government and the Bavarian Academy of Sciences and Humanities (BAdW).
Dr. Lammert is an assistant physician at the TUM Klinikum Rechts der Isar in Munich and researches risk-modulating factors for breast cancer and cardiovascular diseases in women with BRCA1/2 mutations. She is considered a pioneer in the field of artificial intelligence in women’s health – a highly relevant and forward-looking topic.
In addition to her clinical work, she is the deputy head of the DE.xT junior research group within the DIFUTURE consortium of the Medical Informatics Initiative (MII). There, she and her team are working on Natural Language Processing (NLP) for German clinical texts – a key technology for turning unstructured data into clinically relevant information for research and care.
This award is an excellent recognition of her outstanding work and commitment to the future of medical informatics.
